Who is DJ Tambe?

A three-time Ink Master champion — and now a judge on the show he won.

DJ Tambe is one of the most recognized tattoo artists working today, in the style the industry calls new-school realism. He is one of the artists who defined it. The short version: photoreal collides with cartoon.

A piece starts rendered with genuine technical mastery — a face, an animal, a single eye, in smooth photoreal detail. Then it gets interrupted. Flat, acid-bright cartoon graphics erupt across it: white rubber-hose gloves, melting smileys, rainbows, stars, money bags with a dollar sign.

Two completely different ways of drawing, forced to share one frame. That collision is his signature, and it is why his work is recognizable at a glance.

Money Bags comes straight out of that world — the dollar-sign head, the gloves, the swagger. It is his character and his linework, cast in metal rather than drawn in ink.

It is also the first release in a collaboration series we intend to keep going, with more artists and more pieces to follow.

We do the part we know. Every piece is hand-poured and hand-finished, hallmarked, and ships with its Certificate of Authenticity. Nothing plated, nothing filled — solid silver the whole way through.

Why only larger sizes? Every collaboration piece pays a royalty to the artist. Starting at six ounces is what lets us do that properly and still pour every single one by hand.
